The Tufts Opera Ensemble, under the direction of Carol Mastrodomenico and Thomas Stumpf, will perform the prize-winning one-act comic opera An Embarrassing Position (2010) by Boston composer Dan Shore, with a libretto based on a short 1895 play by American author Kate Chopin.
