Clown sightings are on the rise, and the result has been far removed from the joyful laughter once associated with playful harlequins. People are terrified and college students are storming the streets armed with clubs and sticks on their mission to “go clown hunting”. Sociology, history, psychology and computer science merge in this fascinating exploration of possible origins of the clown’s metamorphosis from mainstream, innocent entertainer, to one of the most widely feared horror icons. Prepare to feel chills of delight as we explore the scary world of creepy clowns.
