There are roughly 35,000+ students in the City of Worcester. With over 10 colleges and universities, Worcester is referred to as a “college town,” yet students are so divided by their campuses. But what if students from different campuses began collaborating? What if the differences between student constituents could not only be unified but mobilized? How would a unified student population change the culture and the future of the students?
The Worcester Student Government Association (WSGA) exists to answer those questions. The WSGA aims to discover the interests of “the student” who exist across all college campuses in Worcester. With that understanding, the WSGA will aim to speak on behalf of those interests and increase student engagement to unprecedented levels.
